ENDURANCE SHIPWRECK

Welcome to our website about the Conservation Management Plan for Endurance, a shipwreck in the Weddell Sea.

The Endurance shipwreck is currently protected as a Historic Site and Monument under the Antarctic Treaty. The Conservation Management Plan sets out further ways to manage, conserve and protect the shipwreck now and in the future.

We worked closely with Historic England to draft the Conservation Management Plan. They closely consulted a set of key stakeholders over the contents of the Plan as well as experts and advisers. More information is available about how expert feedback has informed the final Plan here.
